A producer and DJ with a signature progressive and melodic sound, Guy was named Lancashire’s Best Dance Music Producer in 2025, and has founded his own label, Dream of Deep, where he champions music with passion, precision, and authenticity. His acclaimed releases, including Landscapes, Sharing Stories, and Tears, reflect a dedication to creating immersive experiences, bridging introspection and energy.

1992-1998 THE EARLY YEARS
School years; developed foundational music skills playing piano, keyboard, and violin.
1998-2001 UNI DAYS
University years in Manchester. Regular trips to Sheffield to experience legendary Gatecrasher nights, immersing in the trance and house scene and being inspired by DJs such as Matt Hardwick, Scott Bond, Paul van Dyk (PVD), and Judge Jules. These experiences shaped his understanding of atmosphere, progression, and crowd connection - forming the roots of his signature sound.
2001 BROTHER LOVE
Graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Physics. Around this time, influenced by his brother DJ Ammuuna - a professional DJ with a full-time residency in Singapore, BBC Radio 1 airplay, and appearances at the legendary Full Moon Party in Thailand. DJ Amuuna’s international experience helped inspire Guy’s own passion for electronic music
2001 IBIZA
In 2001, Guy landed on Ibiza for the first time and immediately fell in love with the island - its sun-soaked landscapes, vibrant club culture, and the sense of freedom and unity music could create. Nights at Space Ibiza and other legendary venues opened his mind to the possibilities of electronic music: the depth of the sound, the energy of the crowd, and the emotional journeys music could craft. Ibiza quickly became a second home and a lasting influence on his evolving sound.
2002 - 2015 MUSIC TAKES BACK SEAT
During this period, life demanded attention, with work, responsibilities, and everyday obligations taking priority. Yet music remained the core heartbeat of Guy's being - a constant presence, quietly shaping his identity and perspective. Though it never fully took flight during these years, the passion, inspiration, and experiences accumulated earlier - from school, Gatecrasher, Ibiza, and his brother DJ Ammuuna - remained ever-present, waiting for the moment when music could truly become his focus and career.
2015 The turning point
In 2015, Guy DJ’d at his brother DJ Amuuna’s wedding, a moment that reignited his passion and set the Guy Rich project into motion. What had been a quiet heartbeat of creativity during the years when life took over suddenly found its outlet. That night marked the moment when music could finally take flight,.
2016 THE RICH SESSIONS
In 2016, Guy launched his radio show, Rich Sessions, a platform to share his musical taste with a wider audience. What began with just a handful of listeners soon sparked global connections, introducing him to producers, record labels, and collaborators worldwide. 2021 Lockdown
During lockdown in 2021, Guy’s music production, once a passionate hobby, took a serious turn. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, his relentless dedication to producing and sharing his mixes via Rich Sessions helped grow his audience and connect with listeners worldwide. Through the radio show, he was approached with a remix opportunity by Wight Label Records, an independent label on the Isle of Wight. The track, aptly titled ‘Beginning’, was released to critical acclaim and went on to become the label’s highest-streamed release of the year, marking a major milestone in Guy’s career as a producer.
2022 DREAM OF DEEP
In 2022, after years of refining his sound and vision, Guy launched his own imprint. In 2022, gazing out over the legendary Ibiza sunset at Café Mambo - a place where sunsets meet sound and club legends meet everyday music lovers - Guy launched his imprint Dream of Deep. It was born from the magic of those golden-hour moments: the sand, sea breeze, coloured sky, and music that carried emotion, energy, and possibility. Dream of Deep became more than a label - it became a commitment to a sound rooted in atmosphere, melody, and heart. Dream of Deep represents everything Guy stands for: deep, melodic, and emotive electronic music.
2023 Zen
The first release on the label, ‘Zen’, captured the essence of that vision and has since amassed well over 500,000 streams, becoming the heartbeat of Dream of Deep. The label reflects everything Guy stands for - music that carries emotion, atmosphere, and connection, inspired by sunsets, global dancefloors, and a lifetime journey through sound.
